Mazda Windscreen Replacement & Repair

Mazdas are known for their build quality and smooth driving experience, but even the most reliable car can suffer windscreen damage. Whether it’s a small chip from a stone on the motorway or a full crack after a cold morning, it’s best to get it sorted as soon as possible.

We work with all Mazda models, including the CX-5, Mazda2, Mazda3, MX-5 and MX-30. Our services cover windscreen chip repairs, full replacements, camera recalibration and window tinting, all carried out to manufacturer standards.

Why It’s Important Not to Delay

Chips often look harmless at first, but they can quickly turn into cracks that spread across the glass. Driving over a pothole, a sudden change in temperature or even closing the car door firmly can cause more damage than you’d expect. And once a crack spreads too far, the windscreen may no longer be safe, or repairable.

For many newer Mazdas, the windscreen is also part of the safety system. If your car has Smart Brake Support, Lane Keep Assist or similar features, there’s a camera mounted behind the glass that needs to see clearly and be correctly aligned. If the windscreen is replaced but the camera isn’t recalibrated, those systems might not work properly or at all.

If the chip is small and hasn’t started spreading, we can usually repair it quickly. The process takes less than an hour and helps restore the strength of the glass while preventing further damage. Most minor chips are barely noticeable after the repair, and there’s no need to replace the full screen.

This option is ideal if the chip isn’t directly in the driver’s line of sight and hasn’t reached the edge of the windscreen. If you’re not sure whether your Mazda’s chip is repairable, just send us a photo or see our team and we’ll advise you honestly.

Some damage can’t be repaired, especially if it’s a long crack, deep impact, or in a critical part of the glass. In those cases, we’ll replace the windscreen completely. We use OEM-equivalent glass that’s designed to fit your Mazda exactly, whether or not your model has extra features like rain sensors or acoustic insulation.

Every replacement is done with care, from safely removing the old screen to sealing and securing the new one. If your vehicle has a camera behind the glass, we can also carry out a full recalibration to make sure all your safety features continue to work as intended.

If your Mazda is fitted with driver assistance technology, there’s a good chance it relies on a forward-facing camera that sits just behind the windscreen. That includes systems like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and lane departure alerts.

Whenever we replace a windscreen on a car with these systems, we can also recalibrate the camera using dedicated equipment. This ensures everything is aligned properly and your safety features remain active and reliable.

We also offer professional window tinting for Mazda vehicles. Tints can help reduce glare, block UV rays, and keep your car cooler during warmer months. Many drivers also choose tinting for added privacy or to improve the overall look of their vehicle.

Our films are road-legal and long-lasting, and we take care to apply them cleanly with no peeling, bubbling or uneven edges. Whether you want a light tint or something darker, we’ll talk you through the options and help you choose what works best.
